The Importance Of Buying Beats

In this blog post I'll go over some key reasons as to why Hip Hop Beats are important, what would happen if people didn't sell beats, and why you should BUY them!

Why Hip Hop Beats Are Important

Lets imagine for a second you've just bought a new Hip Hop CD. You maybe listen to a few seconds of the first song and you decide you don't like the way it sounds so you go on to the next. You do this for the next 3 tracks until one really catches your attention. The melody draws you in, the build up creates anticipation and the drop really makes the bass come in strong. Now the Rapper is spitting the illest 16 bar verse you've ever heard in your life and now this song is forever in your top 10 best rap songs to remember. You see what happened there? You completely judged each song by the way the Beat started. No lyrics were even heard, for all you know those songs were just as good but you totally dismissed them due to the lack of interest in the beats. Now you see the power of a beat. It can either draw you in, or turn you away in a matter of seconds. Not only that but beats are extremely powerful when it comes to keeping the listeners attention. Have you ever heard a friend listening to a rapper you know they don't like and they say "I only listen to it cause I like the beat."?

Have you ever heard the term "mumble rapper"? This term is used to describe a rapper that you can hardly understand on a song. But why would people listen to a song they can't understand? Well if it's not for the lyrics it must be for the BEAT! So obviously its important that we have hip hop beats for sale.

If There Was No Hip Hop Beats For Sale

Can you imagine a world without beats? Picture 2 Pac's "Hit Em Up" without the beat, or Snoop Doggs "Gin And Juice" without the instrumental. I don't even want to imagine a Desiigner song without a beat (yikes). It just wouldn't be the same. Imagine your favorite hip hop song being played in your car but no bass is coming out of your subwoofers. It would jus be a sad world to live in. Think about how many jobs are created simply because of beats. If there were no beats, then there would be no music producers. So the world would have never heard the names Dj Mustard, Metro Boomin, Timbaland, Or possibly even Dr. Dre. Do you think people would still go to night clubs if there was no beats to dance to? So clubs would be out of business. If clubs went out of business then the Dj's that work at clubs would be out of work. Alcohol sales would take a huge loss, and the cast of Jersey Shore would have nothing to do on a weekend lol. Imagine your favorite movies without background music. I don't know about you but I'm having a hard time picturing Star Wars without its famous theme song. And that's just a small slice of the pie that beats have a part in.

Why You Should Buy Hip Hop Beats For Sale

Now that we know how important beats are to a song, lets talk about why you should always pay for them. I've seen countless artists got to YouTube for their beats and just take them without asking the producers permission. This, as popular as it is, can cause a lot of problems down the road. If your just making music as a hobby and don't want to make it a full on career then you probably don't have to worry. But on the other hand if you are out here selling albums, doing shows, and promoting your music online then you're going to want to purchase a license to the beats you are rapping on so you don't run into any legal issues. Not only for that reason but a lot of times the producer will also help promote the song if you guys are working together. It's actually quite simple these days to buy beats online anyways. You can usually find beats that are high quality and still fit your price range. You can lease a beat for maybe $10 - $30 and use it for shows, albums ect. or you could even buy the Exclusive Rights for about $100 - $500 and sell your song without any restrictions at all! Just remember, for the same reasons you want fans to pay you for your hard work, producers want to be paid for theirs as well.
